I look forward to each season’s fashion collection arriving at Malary’s, but there’s just something extra special about spring. Maybe it’s because there’s a sense of renewal and hope in the air, or maybe it’s all the bright colours in nature and in fashion!
I wanted to give you a glimpse into each of the spring fashion collections available at Malary’s, and something unique about each.
Bella Amour Italy
Yellow is a hot colour this season, just like it was last year. You’ll see a lot of this cheery shade in the made-in-Italy Bella Amour collection, like these sunshine-coloured pants and geometric-patterned blouse.
Katherine Barclay
We’ve carried this stylish Canadian designer at Malary’s for quite awhile now, and their spring 2020 fashion collection impresses us once again. What I love about Katherine Barclay is that she does dressy so well, but she always has such stylish casual pieces too. Here’s a peek at a couple of her more informal looks.
Frank Lyman
This season’s Frank Lyman line has a lot of beautiful bold prints. Whether you want to add elegance with a pleated floral dress or go shorter in vibrant black and yellow, this Canadian designer offers plenty of patterns.
Joseph Ribkoff
Another Canadian designer we love is Joseph Ribkoff. Perfect for the office and evenings out, this season’s collection focuses on lush florals and leaves, making it a natural choice for summer weddings and parties.
Up! Pants
There’s no reason why work pants—or party pants for that matter—have to be stuffy, button-up affairs. Up! Pants is a Canadian company that has been manufacturing the most popular pull-on pants for years. The eye-catching patterns for this season are perfectly paired with solid-coloured blouses and tank tops.
JS Collections
JS Collections always has the ideal dress for your next occasion. One of our favourite Canadian companies, they’re known for their gorgeous applique and lace patterns, but this season we’re seeing something unique: soft florals and solid colours without appliques.
Cecile Benac
Every summery outfit needs a light cover-up for those cooler days and nights. Cecile Benac Knitwear is hand-made in Canada, blending traditional techniques and attention to detail with modern designs and innovative materials.
Love’s Pure Light Silk Scarves
Love’s Pure Light Silk Scarves are truly one-of-a-kind. All of their artisan-designed, hand-crafted garments are made of 100% pure silk, harvested from different regions of the world. We’re seeing a lot of fabulous reds and pinks in the new collection.
Art to Wear
Vancouver designer Marianne Greaves hand dyes her wearable art that’s made from silk and linen fabrics. From rich florals to this watermelon-coloured silk dress, you can see her passion and vision in each design.
Miik
Miik is a Canadian Eco Jersey collection that offers sustainable comfort. Can you believe that these fashions are made out of bamboo? You’ll be set for the beach, the backyard or a night out in these cozy-yet-chic fabrics.
ZSISKA
This Thailand company has created a line of jewelry that’s made from resin combined with many other materials, like these bright butterfly and turquoise necklaces. While they look big and bold, these ZSISKA pieces are really lightweight and comfortable to wear.
